This Nepalese holiday tour covers three areas of Nepal to give you an excellent overview of the country. The Kathmandu valley contains the rich architectural and spiritual sites of Nepal's two great religions. You also travel to Pokhara, set against the magnificent backdrop of the peaks of the Annapurna range. Animal lovers can enjoy the jungles of the Chitwan National Park, the home of the one horned rhino and the Bengal tiger.

Price: from £1,845 Per Person - (Based on Two Persons Minimum - Twin/Double Room)

Day 1: UK to Kathmandu

Depart London Heathrow on a Qatar Airways flight to Doha. Connect to an onward flight to Kathmandu.

Day 2: Kathmandu

Arrive in Kathmandu. You are met on arrival and transferred to a hotel. The rest of the day is free.

Day 3: Bhaktapur

Travel to the city of Bhaktapur to visit its impressive palaces and temples - fine examples of Nepalese construction and wood-carving. Return to Kathmandu to visit the Pashupatinath Temple, sacred to Hindus, and the Boudanath Stupa, the main Buddhist shrine. (B)

Day 4: Patan

Drive to the town of Patan to see the impressive medieval monuments of its Durbar Square. Return to Kathamandu to visit the Durbar Square and the Swoyanbhunath Stupa, with its famous all-seeing eyes. A Nepalese dinner is available in the evening. (B, L, D)

Day 5: Kathmandu to Pokhara

Travel by road to Pokhara, stopping on-route for the excitement of 2-3 hours white water rafting on the Trishuli River. Continue onwards to Pokhara and transfer to your hotel. (B, L)

Day 6: Pokhara

Enjoy a half day tour that includes the Devi's Fall, Gupteshor Malhadev Cave, and the Peace Pagoda. You have the rest of the day free until the late afternoon for a one-hour boat trip on Phewa Lake (B)

Day 7: Pokhara

An early morning drive to Sarankot for a sunrise view over the majestic Annapurna range. You then return to your hotel for breakfast. The rest of the day is free. (B)

Day 8: Pokhara to Chitwan

After breakfast, transfer by car to Chitwan and your jungle lodge. You are sure to enjoy some of the safari activities laid on by your resort. These include jungle walks, elephant rides, dug out canoeing, a visit to the elephant breeding centre, and the exploration of local villages. (B, L, D)

Day 9: Chitwan

A full day of fantastic safari activities (B, L, D)

Day 10: Chitwan to Kathmandu

After breakfast, travel by road to Kathmandu. You then travel to your hotel. (B)

Day 11: Kathmandu

A free day with an optional one hour 'mountain flight' to see Mt Everest in the morning. There is also an evening dinner and culture show (B, D)

Day 12: Kathmandu to UK

You are transferred to an airport for a Qatar Airways flight to Doha. You then connect to an onward flight to London Heathrow, arriving later the same day (B)
